Earth-Focused Landscaping Services in Bloomington, Minnesota and the Surrounding Area

A Family-Owned Business Dedicated to Expert Craftsmanship, Clear Communication, and a 100% Guarantee

While Bloomington, Minnesota may be best known for the Mall of America, residents know it (and love it) for so much more. Even though the city plays home to a number of large corporations and boasts more jobs per capita than anywhere else in the Twin Cities, a third of Bloomington's area is made of parkland and green space, including Hyland Lake Park Reserve and the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. Residents appreciate the opportunity to get outside to hike, go fishing, take a bike ride, and anything else that allows them to connect with friends and family under the sun. Even in the chill of winter, they look for opportunities to spend time in the natural beauty that's intertwined with this urban playground. Despite the often harsh winters the area is known for, this is a year-round town, and no one in Mendota Heights lets a little snow slow them down.

At 3 Bears Landscaping, we offer the eco-friendly lawn care and mowing, landscape design and installation, snow removal, and general maintenance required to help you keep your yard at its best—and protect the precious land it grows on. As a family-owned and operated local business, we're raising our cubs here, and we're deeply invested in creating a beautiful community where families can enjoy time together outside for generations to come.

From small additions to your yard, like fresh planters or a walkway, to major transformations that include outdoor kitchens, built-in seating, water features, landscape lighting, and more, we're on the job. Using Minnesota native plants, sustainable materials, and ecologically responsible landscaping techniques and equipment, we design and build creative outdoor spaces with a commitment to safety, cleanliness, and exquisite craftsmanship.

Our Simple, Transparent Process for Getting Things Done

Landscaping projects can seem overwhelming, but we're here to make it simple and enjoyable. To that end, we've streamlined our process to help you know what to expect along each step of the way, and we're available to answer your questions. Here's how to get started:

  • Let’s Talk

Fill out the form here on the website! It only takes a couple of minutes. You'll receive an email with instructions on how to schedule your phone call at a time that works for you. This is a 15-minute conversation to discuss your vision for your landscaping, and it's an opportunity for us both to decide if we're the right fit for your project.

  • Landscape Vision Consultation

Within 48 hours of your introductory call, we'll reach out to schedule your full consultation. Maintenance plans are customizable according to your property and your needs, and we can often come to an agreement before the call is over. For installation projects, we'll discuss your preferences and budget and set up a time for an in-person consultation ($60).

  • Design Phase

After the consultation, you'll complete a Customer Questionnaire to give us even more guidance and insight into planning your project. The design fee is $895 (minus your consultation fee), plus $500 if you'd like a 3-D design. You'll be able to review your design presentation on Zoom, and our fee includes two revisions, so you can further customize it to your preferences. Together, we'll decide on materials and set up your installation in phases, if required. From there, we'll prepare an estimate.

  • Sign the Agreement

When you love your design, you'll sign the work agreement and pay 50 percent of the project cost upfront. For installations we'll prepare your materials and crew, and we can usually start work within eight to twelve weeks. For maintenance service, we’ll get you right on the schedule.

  • We'll Go to Work

Your dedicated manager will be with you from start to finish. Reach out to him any time you have questions or concerns.

  • Take Your Final Walkthrough

We want you to be thrilled with your landscaping, which is why we offer a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee. If something's wrong, we'll make it right. If you're not happy, we'll make it right. The remaining 50 percent of the project cost is due upon completion.

  • Keeping Your Landscape Happy

So you can enjoy your landscaping for years, we'll teach you how to take care of it. You can do this yourself, or we're happy to discuss our maintenance plans with you and set up a schedule that keeps your yard looking its best. We’ll continue to check-in with you to make sure your landscape is always looking its best.
